Ground penetrating radar (GPR) is an inspection method conducted above ground using radio waves to penetrate the ground surface. GPR provides a non-destructive method of evaluating multiple infrastructures. GPR can be used for: (1) void detection between infrastructure pipes and subsurface, (2) pavement (asphalt and concrete) thickness detection, (3) rebar location, (4) rebar erosion, (5) conduit/utility locations and multiple infrastructure locates.
